Cilantro Lime Rice

This rice is delicious with tacos, in a Chipotle Bar, or served alongside Mexican food. It’s also delicious eaten by itself or topped with my guacamole

Yield: 12 servings

Cilantro Lime Rice


  • 4 cups basmati rice
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Boullion Chicken flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice


  1. Pour water, salt, and butter into a pot and bring water to a boil, add rice, cover and bring to a boil.
  2. Once rice is boiling, lower heat to low and allow to cook for 15 mintues, covered.
  3. Remove pot from heat, add lime juice and cilantro and stir well.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
