I never seem to be able to make enough of this, it’s always gone at the end of the night! However much you think your family will make…maybe double or triple it! 😉 

Yield: 4 cups

Pico de Gallo-Fresh Tomato Sala

Pico de Gallo


  • 2 pounds roma tomatoes, chopped small
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped small (if you want it spicy, leave in some of the seeds)
  • 4 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • Kosher salt to taste


  1. Chop all of the vegetables and combine all ingredients. Taste and add more salt if needed.
  2. Allow ingredients to sit for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to marry.
